The Conan series will be getting a lot of attention in the years ahead, as a new publishing agreement has lead to a plan to release 3 new games from the series. The first of those will be Conan Exiles, which will be getting an early access release on Xbox One and PC.
A new trailer was released to go with the announcement of the early access versions, which you can check out at the bottom of this post. Those planning to play the game on PC will be able to start playing the game through early access on Steam on January 31st, whereas as Xbox One players will have to wait until Spring to play it through the Xbox Game Preview program.
The game is a first-person survival game that has you battling enemies as you forage for food, supplies and shelter. There will also be exploration elements as you discover hidden ruins that contain treasure and knowledge, which are all contained within a dense game world.
Conan Exiles is also expected to come to PlayStation 4, but due to Sony’s policies it will not be getting an early access version. There is currently no release estimate for the full version of the game.
