Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is coming to both PS4 and PC early next year. While having a PC release for this JRPG sequel is great, it has gotten many fans wondering if PC exclusive gamers will ever be able to enjoy the original classic. While we don’t have any definitive answer just yet, the CEO of Level-5 was asked about Ni No Kuni on PC, and he seemed farily coy about the whole thing.

When asked by PCGamer about the original Ni No Kuni possibly coming to PC, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino responded “I’ll leave that up to your imagination for now, but stay tuned for more official announcements. I’ll leave it at that.”

If you’ve been dying to play Ni No Kuni on PC this is the best answer you’ve gotten so far to give you some semblance of hope. Currently the game is a PS3 exclusive, and there’s been little reason to suspect that was changing. The announcement of Ni No Kuni 2 and its PC release did bring the topic back up though, and so far it wasn’t looking good.

On that definite PC release for Revenant Kingdom, Hino made sure to point out that players with a high end gaming PC will “be able to experience a more gorgeous version of Ni No Kuni 2”, and that the team is shooting for 60fps for all modern gaming hardware.
