One of the games that was announced during Nintendo’s segment of last year’s E3 was the upcoming mech action game Daemon X Machina. Today (February 13), during a Nintendo Direct presentation, an update about the game was given, including information about a demo and the full game’s release window.

During the Nintendo Direct, the game’s producer, Kenichiro Tsukuda, revealed that a demo of the game called Daemon X Machina: Prototype Missions will become available from the Switch’s eShop later today and will only be available for a limited time. This demo will include four missions that will allow players to familiarize themselves with the game’s controls and test out the customization options for their mech suit, which is called an Arsenal. At the end of the demo’s final mission, players will also get to try out a boss battle.

Tsukuda and the rest of the team would also like players’ feedback after they’ve played the demo. Some of those who play the demo will receive an email with a survey asking what they thought about the game’s mechanics so that the development team can take this feedback into consideration as they continue to make the game. Tsukuda also encourages those who do not receive an email survey to provide their feedback via social media. Lastly, Tsukuda announced that Daemon X Machina is expected to launch sometime this summer.
