Daisy Ridley appears to be prepping to start working on Star Wars: Episode 8 very soon. She shared a very interesting photo on her official Instagram account. It looks like a picture of the script.
You can see the photo at the top of this article. It has “VIII” which is 8 in roman numerals. It looks like a notice of some sort regarding Star Wars: Episode 8. It could be an early version of the script, although it could be another type of document. After all, cast members weren’t allowed to take home scripts for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.
The little text at the bottom says: “As we begin this tremendous…appreciation for your..“. This could mean filming for the movie is starting very soon. Lucasfilm already stated that production for the new film will be starting in early February.
Production for the film has altered quite a bit now that Star Wars: Episode 8 has a new December 15th, 2017 release date. This is because Disney announced that the new film would be undergoing script rewrites. This has been done thanks to the popularity that the new characters received. The original script was to focus on a newer female lead and villain in lieu of Rey and Kylo Ren.
There’s a lot of anticipation for the new film. There’s a lot of answered questions as nobody knows how Rey is and what and who Snoke is. Hopefully all of these questions will be answered in Star Wars: Episode 8 as Episode 9 won’t be out until 2019.
