Dead or Alive hasn’t seen a sequel in quite some time, but the last title was one of the finest fighting games of this generation. Â Team Ninja who announced the game last night at TGS, described the game as not just a “Fighting Game” but “Fighting Entertainment”. Nevertheless, the game has big shoes to fill with the sequel. Â Or big bras, however you wish to look at it.
The game which has always had a very cinematic presentation could be going down the same road with DOA5, with this “Fighting Entertainment” talk. From what we’ve seen so far, the game looks like its going to be familiar to fans.
Details were sparse about the fighter, but Team Ninja did manage to pin down the year of release, 2012. Â They’ve also decided on consoles: Xbox 360 and PS3. Â Stay tuned for more information as it is revealed.
