Remasters of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 are set to be making their way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year, though there has been some speculation regarding whether or not this would include the DLC that was released before and after Dead Rising 2. However, it looks like that won’t be the case as Capcom has said they have no plans to remaster them.
Capcom has now taken to Twitter to confirm that the Case Zero and Case West DLC will not be included with the upcoming remasters of the games, saying that they have “no plans for those at this point.” However, they do have plans to announce how much the confirmed remasters will cost very soon.
This seems like a very strange omission considering that both DLCs have only been available to download on Xbox 360. Case Zero and Case West released around the time of Dead Rising 2’s release, serving as both a prologue and epilogue.
Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year, though we still don’t have much information regarding them. We haven’t been told about any of the enhancements yet or even when we can expect them to release, though more information is expected to be coming soon.
