Destiny Map Glitch Leaks Upcoming Content, and likely on-disc DLC

It appears that someone has accidentally discovered the upcoming content plans for Destiny. A glitch on the world map for the game has revealed what are likely the sites of future raids, story missions, and other expansive content for the shooter.

YouTuber Kinsey_92 accidentally discovered the content, and can be viewed in the video below.

Heading into the world map, this Guardian discovered that all of the content was locked in Destiny. Every mission had told them that “Requirements Not Met”, but, there were some new missions and locations on the map that weren’t there before.

New strikes and raids will obviously be part of future content plans from Bungie, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be heading to any new planets when the downloadable content starts arriving for the game later this year. One of the new raids will take players to the Reef, a area on the Destiny map that currently only houses a cut scene. Names of the expansions in the video below are indeed the names of content that Bungie has already confirmed: The Dark Below and House of Wolves are already on the docket for Destiny, and it looks like we’ve already gotten a chance to see what’s included in them when it comes to missions.

For those holding out hope that Bungie would be introducing new planets in their upcoming downloadable content, this leak should put that to bed. It appears that the downloadable content plans will likely be expanded content on the core areas from vanilla Destiny.

Update: Bungie has since responded to the DLC leaks, their response you can find here.
