Destiny: The Taken King launched a few days ago to near universal praise. The DLC expansion contained a ton of content, and fixed or altered a lot of things that Destiny players had been complaining about from the start. One thing that didn’t launch alongside the DLC on September 15th was the included Raid, The King’s Fall. However, the wait for The King’s Fall ends right now, with Bungie announcing that the Raid is now live inside of Destiny: The Taken King.
The King’s Fall is essentially the closing chapter of The Taken King’s story, with fireteams of six players taking on Oryx in a climactic final battle. “You cannot face this alone” Destiny’s official announcement reads, making sure you know that the challenge ahead will be tough, and will certainly require you to team up with some friends.
Any time a new Raid launches in Destiny the players band together to try to be the first to complete it. How long it will be before someone finishes The King’s Fall is anyone’s guess at this point, but players have become exceedingly efficient at it by now. Most likely we’ll see a champion crowned within a few hours.
Destiny: The Taken King is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
