Infinity Ward may be the main developer working on Call of Duty 2016, but another small studio has revealed that it will be helping out on the animation side of the game.

The independent developer “elite3d” made the big announcement on its official website today. They said: “We are proud to announce that we are working for Infinity Ward on the next Call of Duty 2016!”

No other additional information was shared other than that elite3d will be assisting Infinity Ward on the new Call of Duty game coming out later this year. Activision and Infinity Ward are likely to reveal the game in May judging by past announcements.

Here’s a short bio on what elite3d does: “Founded in 2004, elite3d is an independent studio dedicated to develop and produce outstanding digital content services. We invite you to enjoy work as much as we do, as well as to exchange experiences and create a fluid communication to help you getting your objectives. We offer you reliability and a strong commitment to our team, aware that everything depends on the people who are behind every project.”

The services they provide mainly specialize in things like 3D animation, motion capture, lighting and more. Hopefully the extra bit of hands enables the next Call of Duty game to look better than its predecessors.
