You know whats good? Demons, lots of Demons. The Doom Slayer is back, and Doom Eternal will officially launch this year, November 22. According to the developers, were going to be traveling across dimensions, shooting our way through monsters and who knows what else they can think of. The main setting has us back on Mars, but it looks like we’ll be moving around quite a bit as the campaign progresses.
We got a glimpse of the campaign and the visuals of the id Tech engine are still a sight to see. The Doom Slayer has even more weapons at his disposal, including a Super Heavy Shotgun, Flak Cannon, and the Giant Gatling Gun. He can also bust through walls and execute even greater melee kills on your enemies, as well as dash briefly from side to side for more evasive tactics.
Doom Eternal’s multiplayer experience was also shown off, and it looks like the company is doing everything they can to remove the memories of the previous entries offering. Called the BattleMode, it will now feature a special one player versus two player style, as one player will be the Doom Slayer, and two will be demons.
Lastly, we got a special Collectors Edition announced, which includes a freaking wearable Doom Slayer Helmet, which we are all over by the way.
Doom Eternal will launch on November 22 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the trailer here:
