Bethesda is still committed to getting all Skyrim DLC out to PlayStation 3 players, though the most recent content will arrive first. Apparently Dragonborn is the best content to release first for PS3 players, as the developers don’t want to make fans wait any longer than they have to.
“We’re hard at work to make this content available early next year on PS3 and PC. On PS3 in particular, we turned our attention to Dragonborn, as we thought it was the best content to release first, and we didn’t want folks to wait longer,” explained a post on the Bethblog.
“Once it’s ready to go for everyone, we’ll continue our previous work on Hearthfire and Dawnguard for PS3. Each one takes a lot of time and attention to work well in all circumstances and all combinations of DLC. Once we have a better idea of release timing and pricing, we’ll let you know.”
For PlayStation 3 players who’ve yet to get their hands on any new content for Skyrim, Dragonborn will be a great start, and the perfect reason to return to the RPG. We reviewed the game upon release, and our review says it’s the best expansion to date.
