E3 2015: The Last Guardian Official Box-art Lands

E3 2015 had a lot of surprises and one of them was The Last Guardian. The game has now received some official box-art.

The box-art features the two main characters from The Last Guardian. We get the creature as well as the small boy.

The Last Guardian was missing in action since it was announced several years ago at another E3 event.

As the years went by, everyone thought The Last Guardian was dead and cancelled. There was a rumor at last year’s E3 that Sony scrapped the game.

Alas, fans can rejoice as The Last Guardian is here and will be out in 2016 exclusively for the PS4.

Let’s hope the 2016 release on PS4 sticks. Last time The Last Guardian was announced, it was supposed to be out for the PS3.

Anyway, fans of Ico will love this game. It has a similar visual style and gameplay mechanics. It’s also refreshing to see a game like this with all the shooters around.

Hopefully we will see more from the game later this year. Sony isn’t planning anything big for Gamescom, but we might see it again at the Paris Games Week.
