The PC Gaming Show may not be something that a whole lot of people paid attention to, but it nevertheless had at least some things of note worth mentioning. One of those things was the new trailer that was shown from Life is Strange developer’s Vampyr, and it was pretty impressive.
The trailer shows the protagonist setting the stage for what is a Victorian London that is in very bad shape. People are dying left and right, and to make matters even worse he has become a vampire and needs to feed every night. The game is based on the 1918 London Spanish flu pandemic, with the game serving as historical fiction set during that era.
While Vampyr will be similar to Life is Strange in a sense that it features plenty of character interaction and a focus on narrative, this game will also feature gruesome combat. More information is expected to be released regarding the combat soon, but for now it looks pretty stylish and brutal.
Vampyr is set to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017. Check out the new trailer below.
