EA might be teasing that some sort of announcement for DLC or an update to Star Wars Battlefront will be revealed tomorrow. It’s been over a month since gamers received the “Battle of Jakku” content back in December 2015.
The EA Star Wars Twitter page announced:Â “Prepare for a cold front coming through #StarWarsBattlefront tomorrow…” They showed the above image as well with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo on Hoth with a TaunTaun.
The teaser might be referring to the January update that Star Wars Battlefront is due to have. There might be a few small things such as new outfits for the characters. It’s not expected to include a new map on Tatooine.
We know for a fact that Star Wars Battlefront is unlikely to include content outside of the original trilogy. Fans wanting to see any prequel or Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens content will be very disappointed.
Outside of free content being offered in the game, there is a Season Pass that includes four expansion packs. EA and DICE have yet to reveal any specific information on what the paid DLC will include. Hopefully tomorrow’s announcement might shed some more light on the new content coming in the game.
