MMA fans will be happy to know that the first gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 will be dropping by sometime tomorrow.
The official EA Sports UFC Twitter page made the announcement. They tweeted out the photo announcing that the official gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 is inbound.
The screenshot shows Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson. We should see a lot more fighters in the trailer tomorrow as the roster for the game is set to include well over 250 fighters in total. It will have several different weight classes and also include female fighters.
A surprising roster addition in the game is CM Punk. The former WWE Superstar is training to be a UFC fighter. The game might be coming out before he participates in this first MMA fight later this year.
The cover for the game features Ronda Rousey and Connor McGregor. McGregor won the right to be on the cover after being victorious against Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
This is the second UFC game to be made by EA Sports. They took over the license after THQ went bankrupt. The last game wasn’t as critically acclaimed as THQ’s efforts, but this sequel will attempt to right the wrongs of the last game.
EA Sports UFC 2 comes out in Spring 2016 for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
