EA Access, the subscription service available on Xbox One, will be adding another new game to “The Vault” on December 18th. EA Sports UFC will become the latest game offered for free to members of EA Access. Gamers will be able to download and play the full game for free, with no restrictions aside from maintaining an up-to-date membership. This is the seventh title to be offered as part of EA Access, joining Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.Â
EA SPORTS UFC enters The Vault on December 18, becoming the seventh title that members can play as much as they want.
Games that are offered as part of EA Access are intended to always remain available, meaning they won’t cycle in and out like free games offered as part of Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus. Along with access to The Vault, members receive exclusive access to demos and discounts on digital EA titles. Â Memberships can be purchased for $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year.
The service is currently only available on Xbox One, which seems to be where it will stay for the foreseeable future. Sony came out shortly after the service was announced and said they turned it down for not offering their customers enough of a value. Considering how many free games are offered each month as part of PlayStation Plus, that is understandable, although EA Access continues to grow and change and might start looking more tempting as time goes on.
