Those looking forward to the release of Evolve might have to sit be sitting down for this one as the title has officially been delayed into an ever evolving 2015.
The upcoming 4 v 1 monster hunting action game where three players had to work together to take down a massive beast on next-gen consoles was set to release on October 21st, 2014 but now it has been pushed back until February 10th, 2015. Evolve won more than 50 editorial honors at E3 2014 including Game Critics Award for Best In Show. This news is coming from a Take-Two first quarter fiscal reports that state upcoming plans for the upcoming quarters.
The delay now puts it in line against other delays that were pushed into 2015 such as Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield: Hardline and more. It puts it into direct competition against The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dying Light, and The Order: 1886 to name a few. February is the new November in 2015 it looks like. Hope everyone’s wallets can survive.
Evolve is now set to release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on February 10th, 2015.
