A special show aired on the CW channel last night giving us more insight in the DC cinematic universe. It included some extended footage of Batman vs Superman that showed us a few new clips that haven’t been shared before.

Not only does this video show some more extended new footage of Batman vs Superman, but we get to hear what the cast thinks of the movie and its characters. They explain in more detail as to why Batman and Superman dislike each other.

Batman obviously doesn’t like Superman because of all the destruction caused in Metropolis. Ben Affleck also described this Batman as older, darker and more worldlier. Superman on the other hand views Batman as a criminal with the brutal ways he dishes out justice to other bad guys. Clark Kent describes Batman as a “one man reign of terror“.

Because both characters find one another to be “bad”, they fight. Lex Luthor is also there in the middle pulling all of the strings. He is the real threat, but both Batman and Superman don’t know that yet until near the end of the movie.

Batman vs Superman releases in North America on March 25th, 2016. It is the second movie from this DC cinematic universe. More movies will be on the way in the future including the likes of the Justice League and Wonder Woman.
