Fallout 4 Far Harbor PSA: Bring Nick Valentine With You

Fallout 4 is set to receive its first major DLC expansion in the form of Far Harbor. While the previous DLC has been enjoyable, it has always consisted of some new items and mechanics, along with possibly a single quest. That changes with Fallout 4 Far Harbor, which adds a huge new landmass to explore, and tons of quests to try out.

Getting to and from the island can be a bit of a pain though, and the quests are all centered around the inclusion of one character, so if you don’t bring him you will easily miss out on some of the content that the expansion provides.

With this in mind, we wanted to let you know that you should really bring Nick Valentine with you to Far Harbor, and keep him as your companion throughout your adventure there. Sure, you’ll meet a new companion once you arrive, and he seems like a cool enough character, but Nick Valentine is the key to unlocking everything that Far Harbor contains.

This should be easy enough, since it’s Nick who sets off the initial quest. However, it’s his assistant that actually gives you the info that puts you on a path to Maine. If you don’t go and get Nick, then you could continue the adventure without him, which would be a shame.

Of course, some players might have sent Nick away, putting him at some random Settlement across the Wasteland. If you’ve lost him then we have a handy guide to help you out. Unfortunately, unless you’re on PC this can be a bit of a chore, but check out the guide if you still need help finding Nick Valentine.
