It’s a very good year for Fallout fans. Announced moments ago at Quakecon, Fallout Anthology will bring together all of the main series Fallout games into one collection.
“For the first time in the history of the award-winning franchise, all the Fallout games you know and love – or need to catch up on – are available in one explosive PC collection that arrives on September 29th in North America and October 2nd across European territories. Fallout Anthology features five critically acclaimed games and official add-ons in a premium collectible set – neatly packaged inside a Fat Man mini-nuke!”
That Fat Man mini-nuke is really what separates this from other collections of major franchises. Bethesda seems to really be hitting the collectible market these days, and they’re doing it extremely well. It even has an open space so you can add Fallout 4 to the set, once it is released. Combine this with the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition and you have a Fallout collector’s dream come tru.
Each game will come with all previously released DLC, so this works perfectly as both a method of catching up on the material you may have missed, or just a way to ensure you have a copy of every single piece of franchise history.
