Ubisoft has shared a new trailer of the upcoming Far Cry 5 in which they showcase the group that the protagonist joins in the story: The Resistance. This group is determined to fight the growing influence that the apocalyptic cult Eden’s Gate is having over Hope County in Montana. The Resistance is full of rebels that will help the main caracter in the adventure, with each territory liberated from Eden’s Gate helping to fill a meter that marks the growth of The Resistance. The bigger the group becomes, the more help we’ll have taking over the rest of areas.
As it is the norm in the games of the series, Far Cry 5 will offer players a wide selection of weapons and vehicles to use in order to explore and survive in the massive scenarios, this time set in the rural areas of Montana. The whole story mode will be playable in cooperative with other player online, instead of limiting multiplayer options to separate missions.
Far Cry 5 was originally planned to release in February 2018, but earlier this month Ubisoft changed that date to March 27th. But it’s not the only change of plans on the company’s lineup for next year, as the same has happened to The Crew 2, which is now releasing anytime between April and September 2018, and a new unveiled project, which was set to release in the 2018-2019 fiscal year, and now it’s been pushed to 2019-2020.
Far Cry 5 launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 27th, 2018. Watch the new trailer below.
