The next generation of FIFA soccer is due to arrive later this year with EA’s FIFA 14. Despite the healthy skepticsm that continually circles around games that are pushed out on a yearly basis, FIFA 14 is out and about, trying to prove that this is your must have soccer game for the year.

While it’s been enhanced AI and more realistic physics in recent years, this year EA Sports is selling “Pure Shot”, “Precision Movement” and “Real Ball Physics” as the game’s back of the box features. This initial trailer for FIFA 14 doesn’t really explain why or how these new features will change the game, but early previews have a mixed view on their implementation.

You can find two videos that show the early prototypes of the new features, below:

FIFA 14 is due out later this year on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
