While the Final Fantasy movies definitely aren’t up to the same quality as the main series (at least when the series was in its prime), that certainly hasn’t stopped Square Enix from making them. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 was the most recent attempt that takes place during the events of Final Fantasy 15, though the reception to it has been mixed at best.
However, if you had for some reason wanted to have a marathon of all three Final Fantasy movies on blu-ray, then it looks like there is going to be a collection of them released in the near future. The listing for these movies was spotted on Amazon, which will include blu-ray versions of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15.
The description for this collection of Final Fantasy movies is as follows:
“All the Final Fantasy movies, now together in a single collection. Experience the adventure, fantasy and action-packed battles surrounding various heroes against evil that are unique to the best-selling Final Fantasy video game franchise.”
While an official announcement from Square Enix has not been made regarding this collection, the Amazon listing claims that it will be releasing later this year on November 21st.
