June 15th Final Fantasy fans, that’s the date that you can get your grubby little hands on Final Fantasy IX. Downloadble from the PSN store for $9.99 Final Fantasy IX, is widely regarded as one of the most classic of the Final Fantasy series. I don’t know why so many loved this entry in the series.
Perhaps fans at the time were tired of the more dramatic and over the top cinematic experiences that Final Fantasy was so ambitiously trying to attain. But in Final Fantasy IX it’s clear that Square gets back to it’s story telling roots so get ready Tuesday is just a stone’s throw away.
While the game released back in 2000, it’s definitely worth anyone who is a fan of RPGs to take a look at. It still goes down as one of the most highly rated Final Fantasy games by critics.
