Final Fantasy Type-0 may have released back in March, but the big hype surrounding that release was the fact that it came with the first playable demo for Final Fantasy XV titled Episode Duscae. This demo of decent length was very well received, but it definitely wasn’t without its technical issues, which Square Enix had announced was going to be fixed through a 2.0 patch update. However, while originally thought to be coming later this month, it has been revealed that the Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae patch update is now coming in early June.
The news of this delay to the Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae demo comes courtesy of one of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Twitter accounts, which confirmed it would be arriving in early June. This is good to get further confirmation, as it was originally worried that they would not be able to distribute it based on rules involving the update of demos.
It was previously revealed that the patch update for Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae would definitely include changes to the camera and combat system that had been issues, but other elements were also on the table. However, we do not know the full rundown at this time, but hopefully we’ll find out more details closer to its now early June scheduled release.
