If you’re planning on picking up GTA V this September for the Xbox 360, you might not find a better deal than the one Microsoft is currently promoting on its official storefront. Apparently those who pre-order GTA V on the Microsoft Store are eligible to receive a whopping 1600 Microsoft Points with their purchase.

You don’t get the points right away in this pre-order scheme, you’ll need to wait until September to collect, but 1600 should be more than enough to to pick up some GTA V DLC if and when it arrives. The program claims to be running until December 31st of this year, or while supplies last. You can find the promotion here.

Rockstar recently unveiled the GTA V box art, and they seem to be sticking with what has worked for them in the past. Box art aside, it’s been quiet from Rockstar in recent months. The latest batch of screenshots for the game didn’t really show off any new features that hadn’t already been announced.

GTA V is slated for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th, 2013.
