Telltale’s Game of Thrones series looks ready to release its fourth episode very soon as the developer has begun teasing events and releasing screenshots for the upcoming installment. Fully titled Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series – Episode 4 ‘Sons of Winter’, this episode pushes the series past the midway point, with a planned six episodes coming in total for the season. Players will pick up where they left off in Episode 3, which you can read our review for by clicking here. Telltale also teased a few of the storylines that will be touched on, so keep reading for if you are caught up on the events of the series so far.
In a series of tweets (click to see a few extra screenshots) Telltale shared some of the story beats to expect in Game of Thrones: Episode 4. “Daenerys and Viserion command Asher in Game Of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series Ep 4 ‘Sons of Winter'” “Coming Soon – Beskha on a mission in Meereen.” “House Forrester & House Whitehill have *much* to discuss at Highpoint.” “The North Grove must never be lost.” and “Did YOU break your vows atop the Wall? *The Night’s Watch will remember that.*”
It seems that players will dive deeper into the events from the HBO show as they take on missions surrounding Daenarys and her attack on Meereen. Also expect to have a lot of stuff happening between House Forrester and House Whitehill, as their conflict over the Ironwood reaches a fever pitch.
No firm release date was given for Game of Thrones: Episode 4 ‘Sons of Winter’, but Telltale usually starts releasing this info right near the launch window. Expect it to hit PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android very soon.
