Gamestop Lists Possible Transformers Devastation Release Date

Gamestop has listed what could be a reasonable looking release date for Transformers Devastation.

If you go to Gamestop’s official website, they list that Transformers Devastation will have a release date of September 22nd, 2015.

September 22nd, 2015 falls on a Tuesday so this looks legit and it’s not the usual placeholder date. Activision has already confirmed that Transformers Devastation will be out later this year.

A release date in September for Transformers Devastation sounds like a safe bet for Activision. The lineup of games releasing in September isn’t so stacked like it is in October and November.

We’ll wait for official confirmation from Activision to see if this Transformers Devastation release date from Gamestop is true. It could be legit as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is coming out a week later on September 29th, 2015.

Transformers Devastation is a unique game from the franchise developed by PlatinumGames. Fans love the cel-shaded graphics and homage to the old ’80s cartoon. The game takes place during Season 2 of the old cartoon.

There will be many playable characters in Transformers Devastation including the likes of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The combat will be fluid much like PlatiumGames’ other titles.

Hopefully Transformers Devastation turns out good as last year’s Rise of the Dark Spark game was very underwhelming…
