How to get the Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Demo in the US

We already reported about the Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo in regards to Europe, but it looks like US gamers will get a chance to test out the game as well. The demo will be sent out some time after October 20th, and will be a special version of the game. Some items you get in the demo release will be transferable to the final game, with the method for transfer being explained later on. Instructions for how to get the demo version of the game are pretty simple, so take a look:

• First, you’ll need to have a Pokemon Trainer Club account
  • To sign up click here
  • If you already have one then you can sign in here
• Next, make sure you opt-in to receiving promotional emails from the Pokemon Trainer Club
• This will need to be done by October 20th if you want to receive the code
• To be sure your code doesn’t end up in your Spam folder you might want to add [email protected] to your allowed list

That’s pretty much all there is to it. The code will be provided as part of the October edition of the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter. This process will make it so that you receive the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter, so if you don’t want to keep getting that every month make sure you opt-out once you receive your code.

The demo is described as “The Special Demo Version features a unique adventure where you can encounter cool Pokémon, including ones that Mega Evolve! Plus, you’ll be able to bring reward items you obtained in the demo into Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.”

Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will be released on November 21st exclusively for Nintendo 2DS and 3DS.
