The file size for God of War 3 Remastered on the PS4 has now been revealed.
The US and European PSN stores have now revealed how big the file size for God of War 3 Remastered will be on PS4. The game has a file size of 42GB. This falls in line with most other new games. It’s not too bad considering the game has been remastered in 1080p and 60fps.
The original God of War 3 on PS3 had a huge file size for its day back in 2010. The PS3 version’s file size was 35GB. This is still pretty huge as even some PS4 and Xbox One games today aren’t that large. The game was only 720p and 40fps back then.
God of War 3 Remastered on PS4 is just 7GB larger than the original PS3 version. This is not a huge leap, which is a good thing. Most of the bigger file sizes belong to open-world video games. Games hitting close to the 50GB file size includes the likes of Grand Theft Auto V and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
God of War 3: Remastered will hit the PS4 this July. There is still no word when Santa Monica Studios will make a definite announcement on God of War 4 yet.
