Gran Turismo 6 reveal inbound?

In the coming months Gran Turismo fans could be getting a major announcement from Sony.  For the second time in two weeks we’ve seen retail listings for Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3.  This time, an Italian games retailer has gone as far as to put a release date on the driving simulatior.  Multiplayer puts the game out on November 28th on the PlayStation 3, with no mention of a next-gen offering on the PlayStation 4.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard about a new Gran Turismo.  Earlier this year, a Sony executive incidentially revealed that a new GT game was on the way when listing the strong pipeline of games that Sony had in the works.

Gran Turismo fans should buckle in.  Another Gran Turismo game from Sony would be a great indicator that the company has no plans on abandoning the PS3 anytime soon.  It would also give PS3 fans something to look forward to, especially if they’re going to wait a while on adopting the PlayStation 4.

If the rumors hold true, there won’t be a much better place to announce the next Gran Turismo title than at E3 2013.
