Grand Theft Auto V Producer Announces New Game

Grand Theft Auto V Producer Leslie Benzies has a new game in the works called Everywhere.  A website for the game has been established, calling the new game one “that simulates and fuses the real world with the virtual.  Live your own stories as you live in ours.”  A multiple studio development project in Scotland and Los Angeles, CA.

Aside from the vague terms and idea, little is known about Everywhere.  The site has no concept art, screenshots, videos, or anything that could give us an indication of what to expect from the game.  Though we do know that the development team includes award winning producers, designers, and engineers.  Benzies himself has earned plenty of accolades for his work on the Grand Theft Auto series — these include multiple BAFTA awards and inclusion in the AIAS Hall of Fame.

Leslie Benzies took some time off after finishing up on Grand Theft Auto V.   A couple of years later, it was announced that he’d left the developer he had been with since becoming a programmer.  An integral part of the GTA development team over the years, Benzies leaving Rockstar seemingly related to his claim of upaid royalties from Rockstar and parent company Take Two Interactive.  Benzies claimed that he was owed $150 million from the companies.

When and where we’ll hear more about Everywhere is unknown.  You can check out the website for the game here, but aside from a cool logo there isn’t much else to see.
