GTA Online Server Status Offline On PS4

For some reason, the GTA Online servers are down for the PS4 version.  It has been this way for quite some time.

If you go to the official Rockstar support website, there is a big “Limited” notice on the PS4 category. Every other platform has the servers up.

Rockstar just posted: “Please stay tuned to this page for the latest GTA Online server status updates. The status boxes above will be updated whenever there are known issues entering or staying connected to GTA Online, so you can keep informed during outages or scheduled maintenance periods.”

At this point, the best thing you can do is wait until the servers go back up again. PSN is not down, so this is just isolated for GTA Online. The PS3 version of the game still works so it’s not just a Sony problem too.

Sadly, Rockstar has not mentioned about the problem directly yet. Hopefully the engineers are hard at work so the GTA Online servers are back online again. Grand Theft Auto V is still one of the best selling games and I’m sure many PS4 owners are annoyed by this current outage.

We will update this post when the servers are up again. For now, just be patient and don’t worry that they’re down. It’s happening to every PS4 owner of GTA Online.
