Halo: The Master Chief Collection Is Not Coming To PC Says Microsoft

Sad news for some gamers as Microsoft has confirmed Halo: The Master Chief Collection is not coming to the PC.

As we reported a few days ago, a listing from Amazon UK showed Halo: The Master Chief Collection was coming to the PC. Halo has been released for the PC before so it’s not a ludicrous rumor to believe. If Halo was listed for PS4, than people would have immediately thought it was fake.

Sadly, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg tweeted out some clarification of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection rumor. He said “I was told that was just an error at retail. Sorry for any confusion that caused.” With a statement like that, this means the game will not be coming to the PC at all. If you see any other retailers listing the game, it may have been an error as Microsoft doesn’t plan on releasing it other than on the Xbox One.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes Halo 1-4 and they have been remade for the Xbox One. Every multiplayer map is also included and you can even play Halo 1 and 2 with their original Xbox graphics too. The biggest selling point for the game is that it will give you access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta.
