The first season of IO Interactive’s Hitman is still going strong, and now the developer has revealed details regarding season one’s penultimate episode. Episode 5 is set to launch in the last week of this month, and takes Agent 47 to Colorado to take down his latest victims.
The episode is called Freedom Fighters, and is set to feature new weapons, items and gear along with “four very different, very dangerous” targets. Here’s a brief description of the episode from studio head Hannes Seifert:
“This is one of the toughest episodes yet. Not only do you have four targets, but from the moment you set foot in Colorado you’re on enemy ground. ‘Freedom Fighters’ is a key episode, which will add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale for players.”
Season one of Hitman is set to conclude by the end of this year as Agent 47 will head to Japan, though IO Interactive has previously said that at least one more season will be developed. The game will be getting a physical release that contains all of season one’s content on January 31st, 2017.
Hitman is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
