Hot Toys has announced it will be releasing a Shock Trooper figurine as first featured in the Star Wars Battlefront video game.
Hot Toys made the announcement on its official Facebook page earlier today. The Shock trooper was created specifically for the Star Wars Battlefront video game. This type of Stormtrooper was not featured in any of the movies.
Hot Toys posed a description on the figure: “To kick start this new Star Wars collectible series, we are delighted to officially present the 1/6th scale collectible figure of a unique Imperial trooper from the game – the Shock Trooper!
The highly-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Shock Trooper in Star Wars Battlefront featuring the meticulously crafted armor and helmet, the distinctive red and white color paint on armor with weathering effects, detailed weapons and a newly designed equipment backpack, and a desert-themed figure stand!”
Hot Toys promises that even more action figures based on the video game are also coming soon. We can be sure that other characters from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens are being planned as well. An older Luke Skywalker must be on the cards as well as other characters.
