Humble Origin Bundle approaches $10 million

The Humble Origin Bundle is set to rocket past the $10 million mark with only two days left until the bundle comes to an end.

At the time of writing this, $9,530,792 has been raised from a whopping 1,942,681 purchases.

Its not hard to see why so much money has already been raised from the scheme, with big-name games such as Battlefield 3, The Sims 3 and Crysis 2 all available to purchase for as little as $1. The biggest amount donated thus far is from an anonymous donor who donated a startling $10,000 to the campaign.

Origin and EAs proceeds go towards various charities covering many different areas ranging from human rights to fighting cancer. The Humble Bundle scheme is a prime example of a community coming together to benefit another. Charities included in the scheme include the American Red Cross, Watsi and the American Cancer Society
