Infinity Ward is currently seeking a single player game designer for the 2016 Call of Duty game that they are currently working on. It remains to be seen if the game is called Ghosts 2 or not.

Infinity Ward posted a job listing on their official website. They are currently seeking a “Game Designer (Scripter – SP)“. The person will be responsible working on the single player portion of the game.

The description says:Infinity Ward is looking for a Single-Player Gameplay Designer on some of the best selling and most critically acclaimed shooters of all time.

The responsibilities are:Create compelling and immersive gameplay with memorable and impactful moments, Use your technical background for problem solving, systems creation and scripting unique scenarios and Working with a flexible C-style scripting language to realize your designs

The last time Infinity Ward worked on a Call of Duty game was the 2013 release of Ghosts. It was the first COD game to be released for the then-new PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The three year development time for this upcoming 2016 video game should make this title better in quality.

As aforementioned, it remains to be seen if this game will be Ghosts 2 or if Infinity Ward has decided to make something new and fresh instead.
