‘It Definitely Is Cheaper Than Dollar Tree’: A Woman Just Found Out Where To Get Cleaning Supplies For Less, And It’s Not Where You’d Expect

According to Daily Dot, Lashauna posted a video on TikTok that got more than 12,000 views. She went to Home Depot after someone told her the store has cleaning supplies that cost less than Dollar Tree. She wanted to see if it was true.

When she got there, she found name-brand cleaning products for only $1 each. She saw things like Comet bleach and Arm and Hammer baking soda. She bought some baking soda to put in her fridge. Before leaving, she said: “Okay, it definitely is cheaper than Dollar Tree since it wants to be $1.25, $1.50, $2.”

Dollar Tree Isn’t The Bargain Store It Used To Be

People are hunting for better deals because Dollar Tree keeps raising its prices. The store used to sell everything for $1. Then in 2021, they raised prices to $1.25. This year, they went up again to $1.50. Now shoppers are checking out other stores to save money.

People who like to save money have been talking about hardware stores for years. Online groups like r/Frugal say Home Depot and Lowe’s have good prices on cleaning supplies. They sell bigger amounts for less money than most discount stores. Just like women sharing their reasons for life choices, people online love to exchange helpful tips.

The video got a lot of attention, with over 16,900 comments from viewers. One person named Char wrote, “Here after Natalie Reynolds’s copied her.” Another commenter, ARIANNA, joked about how similar the video was to Natalie Reynolds’ content, writing “literally Natalie Reynolds: 7m fa = 7minutes ago.”

Other people also joined the conversation. A user named Gretchen left a comment saying “[hehe] how he felt.” The comments show that people were interested not just in the shopping tip, but also in discussions about content creators. Social media users are becoming more active in sharing their discoveries with others.
