Another week, another Kombat Kast, and this time NetherRealm Studios gave us a preview for two fighters. Jacqui Briggs and Kotal Kahn were officially revealed for Mortal Kombat 11, and they both look like they are raring to kick some butt in the series latest entry.

Kotal Kahn was teased last week on Twitter, as well as being shown in other trailers for the game. Kotal is one of the newer fighters in the series, debuting in Mortal Kombat X as the successor to Shao Khan. Kotal’s move set doesn’t seem to have changed all that much as he is still a heavy bruiser who dishes out powerful moves and utilizes his giant sword to slice his opponents. However, he does acquire some new abilities, such as turning into a black cat and pouncing on his enemies.

As for Jacqui Briggs, we already knew that she was going to be playable when she was showcased in the Story Trailer a few weeks ago. Her abilities also appear to be similar to how she was in MKX, but with a little more emphasis on her weaponry. Using her super gauntlets, Jacqui can boost her attacks for more damage, as it is seen in the gameplay trailer with her fight against Kotal Kahn. Jacqui get the victory here, and our reward is finally seeing her Fatality. Just like the other reveals, it steals the show.

Wit the release date only a little more than a month away, we’re probably going to see more fighters revealed during these livestreams. On top of that, the closed Beta is also scheduled to take place next week which will give us a good idea of how the final build of the game will be. Which fighters are you hoping to see announced for Mortal Kombat 11? Let us know in the comments below.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out the Jacqui Briggs and Kotal Kahn gameplay trailer here:
