American talk show host, Jimmy Fallon, is one lucky man. He got to have hands-on experiences with both Super Mario Run as well as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch.

Before Fallon showed off the Nintendo Switch, he got to play Super Mario Run. Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto were at the show with the former telling Fallon how to play both games.

Super Mario Run looks like a game that can be played by anyone. You just tap your screen as Mario runs to collect many coins. The graphics look great and it’s quite challenging. There was one funny section where Fallon was jumping the other way, but he liked the game. The release date of the game is December 15th, 2016. Miyamoto gave Fallon a thumbs up for his performance.

Fils-Aime said that on Thursday (today), some Apple stores worldwide will allow you to try out a demo for the game. If you know an Apple store around you, try and ask if they have a demo available for you to play.

The most exciting part of the video is that a playable Nintendo Switch was in the studio for Fallon to play. Fallon was lucky enough to play the Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Before Fallon got a chance to play it, Fils-Aime played the game on the big screen. He says the game is open world like we already know and you can go anywhere you want.

When Fallon uses the Nintendo Switch, it shows us in real-time that you can just take the tablet outside of the dock and continue playing at ease. We saw this in the trailer, but it’s great to see it happening in real-time. The main gimmick works flawlessly. The game works smoothly via the tablet and the visuals look the same. Check out the new video below.
