Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Kinect motion controller has been widely regarded as a commercial success during the holiday season of 2010.  The strong demand during the years-end led to a 16 percent sales increase in Amazon.com’s Games Division.

The controller which wasn’t available on Amazon.com for the greater part of the holiday due to overwhelming demand will likely continue to sell well at the online retailer, now that stocks have been replenished and the frenzy to find a Kinect before Chirstmas is over.

Alongside the outstanding hardware, alot of great software for the device have already been released.  Kinect Sports, Kinectimals, and the critically acclaimed Dance Central are just a few of the many great titles for the device that are in stock at retailers everywhere.
