Konami Exec Annoyed By The Lack Of A Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Release Date

Fans aren’t the only one anxious for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom release date to be announced. Even a member of Konami wants it to be known as well.

Konami exec, Tora Shiro, has expressed his opinion on the lack of a release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on NeoGAF. He said “not being able to announce a release date is just as annoying on our side“. He ended the post by saying “HQ gonna be HQ a little longer“.

On a separate NeoGAF post, Shiro admitted he “knows more than I’m supposed to” regarding the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This may mean Konami has an idea of when the game will be coming out, but they are not ready to make the big announcement just yet.

He said on his last post that they are still “coming to agreement with the details“. He noted that Konami works on a “global scale“. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is expected to have a simultaneous worldwide release date. Maybe Konami is finalizing details on when is the best time to release the game.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still expected to come out in the year of 2015. It has been speculated for a Q3 2015 release.
