Fans of The Last of Us have been waiting some time for news about single player downloadable content for the game. While we know what The Left Behind DLC is… sorta, we still don’t know when it’s going to arrive.

The most recent update from Naughty Dog on the PlayStation Blog claims that they will be announcing the exact release date for this first story DLC “soon”. The DLC starring Ellie was outlined in a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, and the content is still expected to arrive in early 2014.

Fielding fan questions in the comments section, Eric Monacelli gave some insight as to how long the content will be. “The estimated play time varies from player to player, but it’s a good chunk of time.”

When Left Behind finally does arrive, it will cost $14.99 as a standalone piece of content. It is, however, included in the Season Pass for The Last of Us.
