Ever since the announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition in the US just the other day, we’ve reported on just how fast the pre-orders sold out for retailers like GameStop and Amazon. At the time, it was said that only this bundle was exclusive to only those two retailers and Fry’s through the official Nintendo Facebook page, but completely out of the blue last night pre-orders popped up for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition on Best Buy’s website.
After the immense success of the bundle in the first day with the three exclusive retailers, it appears Nintendo got Best Buy in on the fun this time as well. However, the bad news is that just like the rest, this one sold out in just about no time.
The limited nature of the bundle is certainly living up to its name, by selling out of pre-orders at basically the same rate as the rare retailer exclusive amiibo. For the very short time, the website allowed people to pre-order the bundle, but now the listing has changed to “Coming Soon” with both shipping and online pre-orders unavailable.
GameStop already had a second round of pre-orders available that went as fast as the first, so it’s not looking good for those are wanting the Skull Kid figure. Make sure to keep an eye on any of the four retailers have had it in case anymore pre-orders pop up. We will try to inform you of anymore pre-orders that pop up, but with the speed these are selling out, it may be about impossible to get the info out there in time before running out again.
