The LEGO series of games is one of the largest game franchises targeted at a child demographic, it’s in fact one of the few child-targeted games that are still released on a frequent basis. With the LEGO swarm branching out into the movie industry and publisher Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment loving money, there was barely a doubt in our minds that The LEGO Ninjago Movie would receive a movie tie-in game upon its release.

Releasing on October 10th, a few weeks after the film, The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will see you travelling through eight locations based off the upcoming movie. Throughout the game, you’ll be playing as the main characters from the film: Lloyd, Nya, Kai, Cole, Zane and Master Wu. Your goal is to master the art of Ninjagility (get it?), gaining the ability to perform all of your favorite ninja tricks such as wall running, high jumping and “spinjitsu” combat. Don’t try this at home.

“The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game brings the non-stop action and thrilling combat of the film into the living room so kids can embark on their own Ninjago adventures,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Enhanced movements will help players traverse Ninjago with the fluidity and grace of a secret ninja warrior and improve their combat skills.”

The LEGO Ninjago Movie will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC so all gamers can “get a taste of the action.” Trailer’s words, not mine.
