Madden NFL 16 Free for EA Access Members Starting Next Week

by Kyle Hanson

Madden NFL 16 will be joining the EA Access Vault next week starting on February 2nd. This means that members of the Xbox One exclusive subscription service will be able to download and play the game as much as they want, and for as long as they want, so long as they retain an active membership. Origin Access members also have access to The Vault on PC, but with Madden NFL 16 not coming to that platform, it will be unavailable for them.

“Start your journey off the field in your own personal war room with the all-new Draft Champions mode. Choose which NFL stars and legends you want on your perfect team, and be the playmaker on the field with all-new controls that let you dominate in the battle for air supremacy. New QB mechanics including body-relative throws, plus touch and roll out passes provide you with unprecedented depth and control while under center. Combined with a new risk/reward catch and pass-defend system, get ready for the biggest WOW moments in franchise history.”

Madden NFL 16 joins a bunch of other big EA titles, such as Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA 15, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, and more as part of the EA Access Vault. Along with access to these games, members also receive early access to upcoming EA titles, as well as a 10% discount on all digital EA releases. The membership costs $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year and is exclusively available on Xbox One.
