Amiibo fans have been having a very stressful and nostalgic month. Ever since Nintendo unveiled a slate of new figures to be released, everything has been very tense as fans scrambled to figure out where and when they would be available. Some have popped up around the internet, but there’s still a few that are and were unknown. Two more are now known though, with Best Buy announcing that they are the exclusive retailer for the Link – Majora’s Mask and Bayonetta Player 2 amiibo, and launching pre-orders today.
Pre-orders for the Link – Majora’s Mask and Bayonetta Player 2 amiibo are available now, and if you are a collector then you’ll want to get them quickly. In case that link doesn’t work for you, here is the Majora’s Mask Link and here is Bayonetta Player 2. They are the usual price of $12.99 and buyers can try to have them shipped to their home, or pick them up in store without having to pay for shipping.
These amiibo represent the latest wave in Nintendo’s extremely popular toys-to-life program. Launching a couple of years ago, amiibo quickly became hot collector’s items, selling out quickly and going for high prices from re-sellers. Since then things have calmed down significantly, with most figures being easily purchasable shortly after launch.
However, the latest amiibo, as well as the older Zelda lines have been highly sought after for various reasons. In the latter’s case it is because of the exclusive items and rewards you can get in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, using the amiibo. These new figures will likely be hard to find as well, mostly due to high demand, and many of them being store exclusives, such as these two.
If you’re wanting to collect all the amiibo out there then buy these fast, and be ready for the rest of this line up when they hit some time in the future.
