One of the heaviest criticisms of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 when it released last month, was that one of the game’s characters, Sentinel, was extremely overpowered.  It was voiced by novices and professionals alike, but the end result was that the character was used in excess in the game’s online battles.

In a recent update to the game, Capcom has addressed the issue by toning down the character.

The character is said to have been given around a 25% “nerfing”.  Meaning that the amount of damage that the character could take has been reduced significantly.  Hopefully now, we’ll see less of the giant purple death machine and more creative character combinations as a result.

Sentinel isn’t the only thing that was addressed in the patch.  Capcom also added new challenges and unlockables in the patch.
