Planning on getting Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 in a couple of weeks but you are completely new to the game?  Don’t worry you are likely in the same boat with 100’s of thousands of others.  To get a leg up on the competition heed Ryota Niitsuma’s words of advice that he gave when sitting down with Eurogamer for a recent interview.  When asked who the best characters were to start out with in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

He replied that the best characters to start out with in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 were the the non-technical ones.  So, his picks were Dante, Super Skrull, and Mega Man Zero.  Explaining them as direct characters that will respond well to normal controller inputs.

The don’t have many confusing variations in the moves.  Although he noted that the characters he listed could be used by the expert and novice alike, they are more friendly to the beginner than others.  I think this was a polite way of saying “Use these guys if you are button masher”.
